Custom Properties in Dockflow

Custom properties allow you to add specific data fields to your Dockflow dashboard that aren't available in our standard column options. This feature gives you the flexibility to track and display any additional information that's important to your operations.

What are Custom Properties?

Custom properties are additional data columns that can be configured specifically for your organization's needs. If there's particular information you want to monitor that isn't covered by Dockflow's default columns, we can create custom fields to display this data on your dashboard.

How Custom Properties Work

Adding custom properties to your dashboard is a straightforward process:

Step 1: Identify Your Data Requirements Determine what specific information you need to track that isn't currently available in the standard Dockflow columns.

Step 2: Contact Your Customer Success Manager Reach out to your customer success manager with the following information:

  • The name of the custom property
  • A description of the data it will contain
  • How you'll be providing the data (API or Excel upload)

Step 3: Add Data to Your Integration Once confirmed, include this custom data in one of the following ways:

  • Add it to your API integration
  • Include it in your Excel upload sheet

Step 4: Mapping Configuration Our team will map the data to ensure it displays correctly on your dashboard and notify you once the custom property is visible.
